Vale Kyron McGuire Jnr

Post by LaurieHolden »

Saddened by the news young Kyron McGuire Jnr lost his battle against brain cancer. He did exactly what many of us dream of, run out onto ground with his heroes.

From personal experience, it's what our club and other AFL clubs do well, assist families in a time of need.

RIP young fella.

Very sad to hear.

The club has posted a nice tribute on their social media accounts.

As a 10 year old, I used to roll around on the loungeroom floor laughing until I was out of breath, at the madcap antics of The Goodies on the ABC [ch.2].
I only discovered them by accident, as they used to precede Dr.Who, IIRC.

Vale the genius of Tim Brooke-Taylor, as another part of my childhood leaves this mortal coil.

Exactly Dave!!! It never ceases to infuriate me how decent human beings get taken too early and the arseholes seem to live on and on!!!

So sad about little Kyron. Just tragic. It was brilliant that he and his family were able to have some magical moments with the Pies.

Even with all that is going on in the world right now, this is one of the saddest things Ive read for some time. So glad the club was able to put a smile on his and his families face last year.
Rest in peace little mate.
