Disappointing 2nd half with only 2 goals.

Third week in a row we have kept the opposition to 5 goals.

Excellent first half which set up the win.

Plenty of positives to digest from today's game.

ordinary second half
good first half.
Can't see Cameron getting another game for a while.
Tyler Brown showed glimpses of his potential super star ability.

Dont worry too much about the slower second half. It's happening all over the league. Could be a lack of matchday fitness and everyone is catching up?

Jonathan Brown just pointed out that Collingwood won the clearances 17 to 4 when Marshall was up against Grundy.

Agree.

Not overly concerned about the second half.

It's clear our strategy is to jump out of the blocks as we have done in the first three matches of the season.

With 16 minute quarters in place, having a strong first quarter/half will mean winning games around 80% of the time.

Yes, itโ€™s match fitness. I was happy enough to excuse it first up after a big layoff but we had 8 or 9 days to get ready to run this game out. It was obviously a good, solid win but St Kilda was absolutely useless going forward in the third quarter - if theyโ€™d slotted a couple of about 10 completely wasted inside 50s where they looked certain to goal, the end result could have been in the balance. It was one of those games where the opposition missed too many shots they might have taken and the wind went out of their sails.

Great moments in post-match interviews. Revolting gets to tell Sidebottom, repeatedly, how well he played against the old team.

Great win.St Kilda has been in good form,so to beat them by 44 points is a nice little effort.Yes,itโ€™s a bit of a worry that our scoring always seems to dry up in the second half, but realistically we were never going to lose that game after quarter time.
