Yeah, I think we tend to forget Darling missing a sitter of a mark in the goal square 30 seconds after the Sheed goal. I honestly doubt we would have hung on even if Maynard had gotten the free.

And the eagles argument would be they were robbed with the no call on Howe for dragging the ball in and not getting pinged in front of goal.
We were spent.

There needs to be video review of when players get corkies. Happens too often to key players, it’s the oldest dirty trick in the book giving an opposition star a knee to the thigh. Maynard was BOG until then
Unfairly cops a lot of flak. Was being played in the graveyard for too long when ball delivery to the forward line was poor. Wing is a better position for him because he can use his pace more effectively. 100 games is a great achievement. To get to 150 then 200 is something only champions achieve.
Has really picked it up since round 9 and is one of our better ball users.
Would love to see him kick a couple of goals today and help us get up for another victory.
Joins only around 9% of players who reach this milestone, congrats WHE
Congratulations on a fine achievement.
His best and worst are so extreme, both examples tend to reflect on our results in the same way. He’s a bit of a barometer in some ways.
He’s been on for a while now, so hopefully he can continue with that form all the way to his next fifty games for the club
