Thou doth protest too much methinks.

Trump isn't concerned about the potential for fraud due to the high level of expected postal voting.

He's concerned that Democrats who are said to be more likely to vote by post will do so in large enough numbers to see him lose the election.

This is of course the reason why he has looked to de-fund the postal service and damage it's ability to handle the influx of postal ballots.

It's clear he is setting himself up with an alibi and it'll be his cronies if anyone seeking to engage in and/or are accused of fraudulent activity.

Of course with Federal and soon the Supreme court stacked with Trump appointed conservative judges good luck trying to get an impartial hearing on any concern.

Remember it was the courts who effectively handed Bush the Presidency in 2000 after the contested Florida result.

A subsequent recount of the disputed ballots has claimed that by any measure Al Gore had a narrow victory and would have been declared the winner.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/tr ... bate-poll/
Debate watchers were pretty decisive in their verdict of last night’s performances: Only about one-third said Trump’s performance was “somewhat good” or “very good,” and 50 percent said it was “very poor.” Biden’s performance was more positively received, with around 60 percent saying they thought he performed well. Respondents gave more mixed grades on how they thought the candidates outlined their policies, but Biden received better marks here, too: Almost 60 percent said they thought his policies were “somewhat good” or “very good,” compared to about 40 percent who said the same for Trump.

Marginal republican women say hello. A lot of own goals by the 74 year old POTUS having a temper tantrum; Biden could’ve scripted a “better” performance by Trump.

Now we await to see just how much damage the malignant narcissist will do as he kicks things over and wrecks the place, leaving others with the debt. Even as we speak, coronavirus infections and deaths soar, garnering little comment as the focus remains fixed on the malignant, destructive, vile piece of dog faeces, just as his mental illness demands. Unfortunately, complex problems like a pandemic demand the precise opposite - calm national and international cooperation - in order to be resolved.

Trump is the reckless man-made disaster that just keeps on wrecking.

That’s what worries me for a different reason. The longer he throws his tantrum the worse the rioting, people dying, businesses destroyed, if only he could do one thing with dignity.

Even when the US kind of resolves a problem it doesn't. The foul stench of Trump still falls upon the nostrils of the planet as he tries to blackmail and leverage to pay for his debts and legal strife, and save his fragile ego from reality. Everyone and everything else is collateral damage to his utterly deranged and dangerous psychiatry.

These have been the easiest questions on the planet for years now:
  • Would you trust him to manage your money? No.
  • Would you trust him to manage your organisation? No.
  • Would you trust him alone with your wife, daughter or niece? No.
  • Would you trust him with confidential information? No.
  • Would you trust him to solve a complex, testing world problem? No.
  • Would you trust him to solve a long-term problem? No.
  • Would you trust him to take a hit to his ego to save the lives of another person? No. 100,000 people? No. 1,000,000 people? No.
  • Would you trust him to make the best decision for anyone at his own expense? No.
  • Would you trust him to learn from his mistakes? No.
  • Would you trust him to do anything serious that didn't involve glorifying himself or saving his own skin? No.
  • Would you trust his friends? No.
  • Would you trust his family? No.
  • Would you trust his word on anything? No.
He can't even be trusted in areas he knows something about such as reality TV because you know he's not going to give you something without taking far more in return, in which case you might as well pay for the advice from a sane professional who won't sue you and leave you in debt.

There is, in fact, nothing dear or serious or important you would entrust to this creep except to wreck shit in return for your blind devotion, assets, dignity and reputation. And yet, millions of fist-waving morons still cling to the vile piece of dog faeces.

"It's like a f***ing horror show that never ends," wrote a South Dakota nurse after yet another shift in the emergency room.

She wasn't so much upset about having to treat the seriously ill patients that were steadily rolling into the hospital. That's her job. It was the fact many of her patients still refused to accept the virus was real, even as they lay in hospital facing the possibility of dying from it.

"I think the hardest thing to watch is that people are still looking for something else and a magic answer and they do not want to believe COVID-19 is real. Their last dying words are, 'This can't be happening. It's not real.'"

(Adapated from https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-11-20/ ... t/12897186 )

This pathetic refusal to accept reality - from denying the science of climate change, via denying the result of an election that you lost by close on six million votes, through to not believing in Covid even while you are dying of it - must be sheeted home to the Denier-in-Chief: Donald J Trump.

He didn't cause Covid, but by God he's made it much, much worse.

A vile wrecker and soiler of the earth to the end, this time destroying more pristine wilderness:
The Trump administration has formally announced the go-ahead for the fiercely opposed sale of controversial gas and oil drilling licences in Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

The refuge is a pristine wilderness and home to polar bears, caribou and many other wildlife species.

The sale of leases is planned for 6 January 2021, a few days before Trump leaves the White House.

How prophetic those words were, pietillidie. You wrote them back on the 7th of November and everything you said has come to pass since then. The pandemic has just got worse and worse since then, and yet all Trump has done is to fraudulently try to over turn the election results. No compassion or concern for the thousands of people dying from this disease every day. He literally doesn’t care about anyone but himself.

Not too sure he cares enough to give a damn about his future either. He is the definition of apathy, doesn’t give a stuff about anything at the moment. He is a fat arsed wrecking ball swinging wildly to cause as much environmental damage as he can before he pisses off sulking and having another tantrum
