I see it as a precursor of landing a new coach at the end of 2021- Clarkson would be great. I hope that Wright at least picks up the phone and has a chat with Dean Solomon for one of the assistant roles.

I am certain that Wright will implement a far more professional approach to salary/contract negotiations. Be ready to lose players who overrate their worth as a consequence, but Wright will be wise enough to make the right calls.

Feeling better about the direction the club is taking by the week...
Ok, funny I thought we got rid of players getting paid more than they rated their worth last trade period and all hell broke lose.
Apples and oranges.

Warburton Lad was talking about salary/contract negotiations, not offloading players after that has occurred.

We Might win the Flag and Also have the Number 1 Pick in the Draft
Once a club won the Wooden Spoon and Premiership in the same season.

But I reckon that won't happen this year.

I listened to a podcast from a few weeks ago in which Don Scott was of the belief that Wright had left Hawthorn because of a falling out with Clarkson and an inability to continue to work with him.

I think its fanciful to think Clarkson would coach us next year anyway, regardless of any beef there may be between him and Wright

If Bucks is treated the way Eddie was, why would any sane person want to coach Collingwood? You would have to be bloody nuts

Did we free up salary or just axed them to cover the ridiculously over the top contract we gave to a useless ruckman?
