Wrong Swoop42.

Just ask Lazza. Wrighty reads Nick's and made his decision based solely on the posts from:
- Boy who cried wolf,
- Jezza and
- CarringbushCigar.

The club has until 5pm this evening to release the member information else they may be taken to court. The article is on the HS website now.

Interesting development - spill the board now so we can give the incoming coach some stability before they arrive.

(Herald Sun) Collingwood’s presidential fight could be headed to court after the Magpies failed to hand over membership details by Friday’s 5pm deadline.

Long-time member David Hatley said he would consider legal action under the Corporations Act if the Magpies did not provide the information required to cross-check the names on his petition to spill the board.

In a dramatic backdrop to Nathan Buckley’s last game as senior coach on Monday, Hatley asked the Magpies to come to the party on the membership details by 5pm Friday or face the prospect of legal action.

But the Magpies did not make contact with Hatley on Friday, which will prompt talks between Hatley and his associates across the weekend about their legal options.

Another reason why Korda & Co need to go!!!

Maybe they need a lesson in accountability via an EGM!

How is the coach announcing he is stepping down before the bye, after the board said they would review his position in the 2H of the season, "decisive action" by the board?

The coach was sacked. Told he wont be coaching next year. A decision presented and ratified by the board.

I'm sure I heard some of the guys on SEN referring to Nathan being told he won't see out the rest of the year games wise after the bye regardless, i.e he was actually sacked but obviously Nathan graciously accepted it and what we saw was the club and Nathan presenting it in the best light possible.
All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!!

Sacked and told he won't be coaching next year are not the same thing. His contract ended this season. What was the "decision presented and ratified by the board" and where was it published? Backroom shenanigans designed to avoid an EGM are not "decisive action" IMHO

Wright would have discussed / recommended to the board that Buckley would not be re-signed. The Board would have ratified that recommendation. Buckley was told and decided to stand down after Monday.

I can't see how that's not decisive action by the Board on the future of the coach.
