The Hydra ~ Caro rears her head again

Board’s seriously looking at Don Pyke. I’m hearing the board wants to sign someone ASAP, before the EGM and Browne’s challenge happens. **** the lot of them off. If they do this I won’t be renewing my membership. I won’t be anyway due to the way they’re treating members. After what Pyke did with Adelaide re the camp and other psychological bullshit that wrecked them, no ducking way do we want that. Grundy will quit, he and several others had had enough of Buckley’s new age psychology. And if you think you know everything what happened at Adelaide, you don’t know the half of it. We don’t want that.

It’s Time!
The complete board needs to be held to account including a woman appointed by the current president that remains ineligible to vote. Korda is a joke and clearly panics under pressure. There are two good female board members and I hope they remain because we need the best board we are able to attract.
Happiness is being a Collingwood Football Club Member! Euphoria is watching the Pies win the Premiership!

Not sure I’ll have too many agreeing with me but this will be a positive. Takes a heap of salary cap pressure with him and we can develop some young ruckmen for the tilt at the flag in 2024/25. It will leave us in a better place.

That has been the last 10 years at Collingwood, former President has a lot to answer for...he has set this train in motion...he refused member votes on his board or leadership.slangman wrote:This board are proving that they are not there for the members or the club but are instead only there for themselves and their own agendas and ambitions.
Bring on the EGM!!!
As I said many many years ago...a leader who stays too long in any sphere is not a healthy thing and ultimately extremely damaging as everything revolves around one person and inertia sets in, as it has and look where we are now post his exit.
IMO the whole board has to go...the current board has publicly backed Korda meaning they wont serve under anyone else....they all have to go. And this S$%T show has to be ended by this club.
Start by moving into the 21st century, and setting in stone presidential term limits. You can run for as many terms for President as you wish. You MUST go to a members vote every 3 or 4 even 5 years I would accept.
We cannot afford another Emperor President who installs himself for life. I don't have all the answers but that is a big start I think...healthy fresh leadership with a democratic voting system....members get their say and can vote with their feet if they feel they are being let down by the board.
Board has to stay honest and hard working if they want to win at election....see how often they go parachuting people into board roles then.
