Changes to Melbourne rules.
Childcare centres under a permit system - only authorised workers and vulnerable children, essentially the same as last year.
That's statewide.

There a people up there that think it is a hoax. One of my friends up there works with a cohort (eastern Europeans) that believe that is all part government plot to control everyone. They have to be constantly reminded to wear their masks properly at work and are the least likely to consent to mandatory vaccination. What'sinaname wrote:As expected, rural in lockdown.
Shepp people thinking they were OK, i.e., can't be COVID, waited too long to get tested.

One of my girlfriends work colleagues was trying to explain to her that all the world leaders were actually aliens in disguise & want to take over the planet. She ended to conversation quickly & walked away before she burst into hysterics.

They'll pass us soon with total cases, but not with deaths. In the day we had 700 cases, we had 15 deaths. NSW have 825 cases and 3 deaths - that's 80% fewer deaths with delta. So yeah, it's infecting younger people, but is it nothing more than a cold / flu?think positive wrote:man they are smashing it out of the ballparkPies4shaw wrote:NSW recorded 825 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night. 733 of them "wild".
An Australian record.
Went for a walk today. So many people meeting friends and family for a walk, and lots of unmasked people.
