So as a list manager you would discard proven ‘clowns’ such as -
Martin, Degoey, Kelly, Stack, Whitfield, Franklin, Greene, Mumford, Stringer, Robbo, Rioli, Libratore, Wingard, Dixon…. (the list is endless) ???

None of them placed an illegal bet on the footy, which cost him and us very dearly, and sure they are tough players, but none are as much dickheads as he is.

That betting suspension derailed us. We should have been following up on 2018’s success, but nah. I think we had a horror month of interstate travel at the same time too. I think Beams stopped playing around the same time too, or was that the year before?

None of them placed an illegal bet on the footy, which cost him and us very dearly, and sure they are tough players, but none are as much dickheads as he is.

That list contains convicted performance enhancing drug cheats, men convicted of aggravated assault, drug dealers, dudes who snorted enough coke to kill an average human, karate kids, menaces to society, liars, cheats, philanderers and organised crime affiliates.

I’m not sure a lazy Sunday punt puts Stevo in the same category…

There has not been a public fallout between Stevo and our playing group, and judging from social media he’s still tight with a number of pies players.

Clearly a stupid kid who’s exceptionally talented and seems to have been trashed due to a personality clash with a coach who is on longer at the club.
At best this was an extremely poor trade.

I’ve seen the hotel CCTV and know people involved, I’ve spoken to people at the club and know what happened in the hub. But do carry on how exceptionally talented poor misunderstood Jaiden is, especially when only ONE club entertained trading for him and only after Geoff Walsh did some middle man negotiating. Im just grateful we have people at the club smart enough to move him on and dont pay attention to the un educated who still think they know better.

If they didnt act there would have been more players leaving.

thats more than enough!! (the calibre of players wanting to be away from him, it had to be him leaving)

although im exasperated that the club could not take him by the ear and fix it, the day he came out with "It ALMOST made me quit gambling completely" almost? i have no idea what will fix this kid, but it just may be his time is up, a broken hip is not something you recover form easily at the best of times, question is will he have the balls and desire to do the rehab?

unless he really turns it around he will just be another waste of talent. and thats a damn shame

from what i have heard (and its a really good source) nothing changed in his attitude towards training and preperation as a proffessional athlete. he made his bed, and unless he really turns it around he will just be another waste of talent. and thats a damn shame

Betting on games of football, continued allegations of off field poor behaviour, uneducated opinions shared on social media about COVID and now breaking his hip falling off a BMX when drunk.

Stephenson won the Rising Star award so it's hard to say Hine got the talent identification part wrong but boy he sure dropped the ball this time when evaluating his character and intelligence.

The sooner Stephenson moves to South Carolina, buys himself a make American great again cap, a confederate flag, the sooner he'll know he's found his place in the world and be happy.
