Very disappointing. Thought she was an excellent addition to the board. Filled a sports-science expertise void that's existed since Kennedy's departure.

Her appointment was in accordance with the constitution though. Sections 27 (Casual Vacancies) and 25 (Qualification for Board Membership) apply. Her position to be ratified at the next AGM.

Her membership was apparently taken out in Jan-Feb 2020 reflecting her support for the Collingwood AFLW side. Well before that appointment this year. She'd actually nearly meet the 24 month criteria if the AGM was held early next year as usual.

Seriously, our board has displayed some serious levels of incompetence, when you consider the salary cap debacle last year and then the appointment of not one, but two, casual Board vacancies, of people who were ineligible, due to their dubious membership status.

Corporate governance, by a board supposedly full of corporate heavy weights has been abysmal.

At least Paul Licuria and Peter Murphy oversaw a professional recruitment and selection process for our new coaching staff.

The whole board needs to go and go NOW! They reek so much of incompetence it's hard to know where to start. I for one cannot wait till they're ousted in a full spill (not one that suits korda and his agenda) and replaced with people equipped to handle the job. I was not aware of her Bulldogs post on Instagram before posting my earlier comments regarding her resignation. What an absolutely pitiful joke of an appointment to the board of our beloved club. And to think that some come on this forum and defend her, and speak about the potential consequences for our club if she goes??!!!??!?

Well if our great club is going to be worse off in any manner whatsoever as a consequence of letting go of a board member who wasn’t even a bloody member until someone realised she couldn’t be on the board without it, then we should just close the whole joint down.

There are people who bloody well bleed for this club and who have shed blood in its name. We do not give a moments thought to slamming the door on those who see appointment to our board as a corporate stepping stone and as another notch on the belt of their CV.

What a breathtaking period of embarrassment and incompetence we have witnessed in recent times.
