Not relevant to her potential ratification so a moot point. Merely mentioned it as a point of interest.
Next thing you'll be defending Nickleback's back catalogue!

Rushed poor appointment in the first place, there must be ample better and more appropriate female candidates
As I understand it, they assessed 70+ potential candidates, O'Donnell came out as the number 1. Wilson was appointed ahead of her into Ed's board position because O'Donnell's employer wasn't supportive of her taking the role. Once the situation with her employer was resolved she was appointed to the next vacancy (AW's). Given an independent assessment of 70+ potential candidates couldn't identify any I'm happy for you to list a few of these "better and more appropriate female candidates". Can you highlight which of them were willing and available to take on the role and what skills they'd bring.

Well, they might - just to take an extreme example - have actually selected a female candidate who was able to meet the minimal requirements for appointment to the Board.

Why does a 24 month qualification period matter when it can easily be waived as we have done in the past?

Because they are the rules in the club's Articles of Association, which went out the window under dictator Ed.

It's actually in the constitution to allow the waiving of the 24 month membership requirement.
