Eliza James great 1st game.
Thought Britt and Chop came into the game more in the 2nd half.
Struggled a bit with centre clearances and decision making was a bit average at times, choosing wrong option - a bit also due to the Blues pressure.
Three 50 mtr penalties made a difference but Pies did miss a couple of getable goals in the 1st qtr.

If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome

Yeah. I felt like we didnt play that great, but we still walked away with a 19 point win.
Need to work on the set shot.
I was confident of finishing in the top 3, but after Davey, Im not so sure. She's that important.
Carlton will always challenge Collingwood. Always. There's just something about it. Mens, Womens, VFL, whatever it is. And being the first game, it's always hard to tell where a team is at.
Out next 2 games, against Saints and Cats, are very winnable and we in fact have a very favorable draw. So we should still be able to find ourselves playing finals.
Improving on decision making, shots on goal and getting over the mental hurdle of missing Davey is what the coaches need to look at.

Great to get the win and shocking for Bri. What's that now, 5 likely season ending injuries after Round 1. FMD.
The standard of the woman's game is improving every year, although with 14 teams now, quality players are being spread across more teams so the improvement in overall quality isn't as fast as it would be if the comp was still 8 teams.

Fighting against the objectification of woman.
