^ I don't know that they left their worst till last. I think we always expected them to get thrashed, today, given the opposition, where they were playing, injuries (as you note) to the two best players and their dreadfully-interrupted preparation for the game. It's a shame but this was always likely.
A tough day missing key players out , along with COVID issues , a fresh brisbane at home and the umpires were utter vomit , Brisbane got some serious soft frees.
As another poster commented on another thread, Collingwood has zero depth and key injuries kill us on the field. Also we will still be without Davey & Bonnici if the next season of AFLW is this year! And we won't get anything good out of the next draft as Essendon & Hawthorn will get all the good picks! Let alone the loss of existing Collingwood players to Bombers & Hawks! Expect to start from scratch again next season. We are miles away from the teams above us on the ladder. What I'm pissed about is all the interstate teams dominating every year - especially Adelaide & Brisbane. When will they get their turn at the bottom?
Awful way to end the season. Really thought we had a chance this year. Those hopes were just about dashed when Bri was injured in round 1. But I still had hope.
