Darcy Cameron in the wet if you don't mind.
Was there a moment where Darcy failed to make his impact? I reckon he played the role of 2 and a half talls today.
Doing it in the Ruck, kicked a goal, tackles, defensive grabs, kick out grabs, scrambling at floor level. Seriously, one of the proudest games I've seen by a Collingwood big man.
And I agree with the string of names mentioned above.. Especially Noble.
But how good was Ginnivans celebration before he even kicked it ! Even some laughs from the Freo cheer squad !
Not the same, but Aker like. Acting like a winner, as the coach says, is a habit.

Fantastic win.
Such an awe inspiring effort across the board.
Every player earned his place.
Wonderful game from Cameron. He is really rising to the occasion.
Noble is a gun. Just love this guy.
Jack Crisp. Star
Tyler Brown in the second half ...huge game. Well done. Best game from him in his career.
Tay Adams... great game.
Our defence was transformed tonight. Looked like the defence we used to know. Mids went back to support, and we checked them man on man. No easy goals out of our F50 tonight. Moore and Howe were back to their fantastic best, and Maynard as well.
IQ fantastic as well.
When we get the co-ordination and structures right, our defence is fantastic.
Oh, and Nathan Murphy. Well done to him. Did plenty well.
Ollie henry... 4 goals...fantastic result
His ability to anticipate the play, and take marks, is mercurial. So good that he got such a confidence booster this week after last week. He is a massively talented young guy.

True, and just how much of a confidence boost this will be.Jezza wrote:Cannot underestimate how important it was having experience return in the form of Pendlebury and Elliott.
The kids took a chance and stood up and it paid off.
I can actually see the whole team not afraid to have s go, try something that’s not necessarily to plan
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!

i have always defended Noble from day one, hes copped a lot of shit on here, but i knew he had it, hes a little ripper, a goer, a heart as big as a pumpkin, guts, courage, hes a vital cog now, hes proved many doubters here dead wrong. Oh and jumpin jack ginnivan, what a gem that kid is, we are on our way now folks, there will be stumbles at times, but we can see the gameplan now, and Fly is one hell of a great coach. Now for the Bluebellies, lets get into em, give em some Magpies heat.

But I think we had plenty of skill today.stui magpie wrote:The In's added leadership, x factor and calm heads. That was a great win, seriously good.
Effort doesn't require skill or talent. Look out Carlton.
There were some elite skills shown across the board by many of our players. I thought today really demonstrated that our team has very high levels of potential in terms of both skill and physical energy.
Great coaching as well.
Clearly outpointed Freo's coaching approach.

Noble is an absolute gem, rough cut diamond now starting to scintillate.
Ginnivan is a genie. His moves are magic.
And yes, Fly really stamped his mark on this game. His coaching was briliant. Outpointed Justin Longmuir. And Justin Longmuir is a fantastic coach, as we well know.

We gave Freo a lesson is wet weather football.
Was awesome to see a team performance, everyone played well and played their role.
It was also great to see some marks and contested marks taken inside 50.
With Fly as coach, and when we finally get the pieces of the puzzle together, we will be a pretty darn good team to watch, and maybe get some success!!
Great win, go pies!!
