To be frank I find any picture of him standing, as a non French person, in front of the Eiffel Tower nothing short of cultural appropriation of the most heinous kind; for shame!!!!!

Polarising Pie Jack Ginnivan doing it his own way
https://www.afl.com.au/news/871907/the- ... nivan-more

GINNIVAN'S sparring match with Cats skipper Joel Selwood in just his eighth game alerted the football world that the kid has some moxie, able to ruffle one of the game's greats and earn a goal in the process.

He was widely criticised for the act, but never one to shy away from the spotlight, backed it up with a best-on-ground performance on Anzac Day in front of 85,000 people.

The piece de resistance? The 'shushing' of the Essendon cheer squad after slotting a miraculous goal from the pocket. Not even the most experienced of players would be so daring.

It's just in his nature to antagonise. "I've done it since I was a little kid, even playing different sports, basketball, cricket, whether it's a little sledge, just being in your face," he said.

I can't think of another player who has elicited the type of reaction Ginnivan has over season '22, not just from the crowd, but from opposition players.
He is like a puppet master pulling the strings, with the audience playing their part, booing and jeering at the villian. While controlling his own emotions, he is incendary to the emotion of opposition supporters, given he has the talent to walk the talk ~

2nd season, ANZAC Medal, AAU22, 40 goals 19 behinds. Not bad for a 19 y/o.
For 2022, he averaged 2.96 shots for 1.74 goals per game, 9.70 disposals, 1.48 tackles and 4.48 score involvements per game.
Where's his ceiling? What's a pass mark for 2023? How might he improve?

AAU22 once again beckons, but if he picks up where he left off in '22, AA small forward is clearly within his grasp.

Look, if he's not going to be paid free's, I'd like to see his pressure game go to another level, and that means more tackles inside 50.
If Ginni can match Billy at (3.47 avg) and McCreery at (3.91 avg), it'd have a marked impact on game day to our forward line impact, offensively and defensively.
Add another 10 goals to this years tally, opposition supporters will be headless.

Our most entertaining player since Dids. Can't wait to watch the lad again this year.
In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.
