Get Laced Out to do all of our player interviews, that was great.

I'd love the Club to interview the old Bootstudders, Door attendants, weight trainers from days gone by.

When the interviewer asks from the outset "are we going to be all corporate on this" or more off-the-cuff (thankfully they go with the latter), it really drives home how sad it is that AFL players have to be so robotically "on message" in most of their media appearances. Obviously clubs and the league are so afraid of them saying the wrong thing that they've ended up draining all personality and individuality out of most player interviews, which often makes me wonder what the point even is of hearing from them when you know exactly what they're going to say.

Obviously it helps that these guys are apparently close friends in real life and obviously not everybody is going to want to open up about their struggles in public all the time, but yes, more of this kind of thing please.

Great interview and Jordy comes across as a very thoughtful person. Loved his comments about Pendles and how awesome he is

Excellent, honest and insightful podcast. From a Pies perspective JDG is very committed to being a top player. He is very team oriented and congratulations to him for being open about his ADHD - this can be a debilitating condition to manage. He looks content and credits Macrae with creating a positive environment. It further confirms my belief that we have a top top coach.

Call me old, but why the need for both of them to swear so much??

It’s like they were having a comp to see who could say ‘fork me’ more times.

Got to be a bit better than that.

Yes, I’m old.

I think that's just the way a lot of guys in that age group/milieu naturally speak. I'd be surprised if there were many people on here who don't swear casually when talking with their friends.

Every second word I say is usually a swear word… but not when I’m being recorded and the recording is being made accessible to everyone.

Got to be a bit smarter than that.

It's only an issue if someone makes it an issue, and as far as I can tell they haven't (which is saying something, as of course The Herald Sun et al would love any opportunity to do another De Goey front-page beat-up).

I think you're in the minority here in seeing this as a problem. Most Australians just aren't that uptight about swearing.

He may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but it was good to see him smiling and apparently enjoying being a Collingwood player. It was also good to hear him so positive about our new recruits and our prospects for next year. It's also pretty clear that the club's psychologist, Jackie Lauder, is doing a great job with a lot of our players.

I agree, I don’t understand why people have to swear so much ;) ;) ;)

Excellent work from both of them.
