Speaking of Shane Watson, social media was saying it was his birthday on the day that FTB Smith was out plumb LBW and burned an Oz review in the 1st Test!!

Maybe that was FTB's birthday present to Watto.

Watson's previous coaching experience was as assistant to Oz's last great batsman, Ricky Ponting, in the IPL.

Trying to work out the strength of MLC. Weaker than IPL for sure. Is it BBL strength?

Guess it doesn't matter for betting. Just bet like it's IPL!

Tournament done and dusted. Well, that was quick. Even by slogathon standards.

Blink and you'll miss it!

Leading wicket-taker for the tournament was FTB Smith's tormentor, Trent Boult (22).

Total wickets taken:
Pace 157
Spin 78.

FTB is Boult's bunny. Easy to see why. If there's swing, Boult will find it. And just a teeny weeny bit of sideways movement is enough to destroy FTB's defective technique.

But will Boult ever play another Test for NZ? Oz will tour NZ in January for the first time in a long, long, long time.
