And thus Australia ended India’s run of 7 successive home series victories in ODIs and took over the position at the top of the ICC World ODI rankings.

Wow! Another duck from FTB Smith in the third ODI!!

Third ball duck this time.

Lucky for Oz there was Mitch Marsh, Zampa and co... Not that this series matters. It's just for WC prep.

A lotta ducks for FTB since the start of the summer... 3-6?

Looks like just the three:

8-ball duck vs WI in Adelaide Test, Dec 2022;
Silver duck vs India in Delhi Test, Feb 2022;
Bronze duck vs India in Chennai ODI, Mar 2023.

But FTB Smith was also dropped on zero by the keeper off Axar's bowling in the Ahmedabad Test (2nd innings). Sheesh... :shock: How do ya nick behind on such a dead pitch? :?:

Jadeja and Ashwin were named joint players of the Test series.

Dunno how many times that happens. Must be unusual.

Jadeja vs. FTB:

2013: 1/29 (119 balls)

2017: 3/122 (355 balls)

2021: 0/30 (60 balls)
Update:

Jadeja vs. FTB:

2023: 4/89 (201 balls).

So Jadeja has now got FTB Smith out 8 times in Tests. FTB's average against Jadeja this year was 22.2. And don't forget: Jadeja also bowled FTB off a no ball in the 2nd innings of the 1st Test.

I reckon it's official: FTB Smith is Jadeja's bunny.
