You might deduce I love a good statistic dive.

We have 4555 registered users.
164 people are currently active on Nick's - 0 Registered, 1 Hidden and 163 Guests. Registered Users: None. (many registered users don't log on each time)

Most users ever online was 764 on Thu Dec 29, 2022 3:07 am.
Not sure what this was all about, maybe Hal's bots are at work??? While Hal disappered into the Nicks Matrix a few seasons back, he remains ethereal.

I'm banging the drum to Nicks 'lurkers', to sign up for '23, and to flair (avatar) up.

Let us know here if you move from "long time lurker".

How do I add an avatar?

Post by LaurieHolden »

I suspect there might be a few profile avatar updates in the wings, or those wanting to add an avatar* to their profile can do so via ~ https://www.magpies.net/nick/bb/index.php then go to your profile.
From there scroll down to Avatar control panel and follow the instrux.
*Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 131 pixels, the height no greater than 151 pixels, and the file size no more than 20 KB.

Cheers, Laurie

Welcome to the mad house!

Now that all the pleasantries are dispensed with - where's all this cake you've spent time strolling for?

All in good time Piedys - hoping that next season there will be plenty Moore slices of premiership cake. (trying to not using the dreaded D word).

^it's a good time to join as we all bask in the glory of no.16.

I might as well tell you now, there's a place on Nicks called the Match Day thread. While it's sparsely populated, the passion is 'red in tooth and claw'.
This is where madrigals of magpies' flock, and their hopes, dreams and a dose of reality are mashed together on Match Day. Old posters and new have ventured into that forum and forever regretted it.

At the moment, all is quiet. It's the equivalent of the German and English unofficial ceasefires along the Western Front of the First World War during Christmas 1914. Speaking of which, it's where our oldest Nickster Hiss, served. As with many young men of the day, they lied about their age to sign up, but remarkedly, Hiss was already 50 at the time. But Hiss being as passionate a supporter as he is wanted to follow three of Collingwood's best footballers of the day, Jim Jackson, 'Doc' Seddon and Paddy Rowan and join the call.

But the Match Day 'arena' is where you'll see posters / supporter's true colours, the good, the bad and ugly, quarter by quarter ring true. It's the equivalent of being on the Victoria Park terraces on match day. Evictions occur, but the glue is a win, and while there are few apologies, most is forgotten the following day.

Just don't say I didn't warn you...

Welcome to the board Haff!

Looking forward hearing your thoughts on all things Collingwood in the near future :)
How has this worked out for you Jezza. Reckon I lurked for a good 5 years.
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.
