One more victory and Pendles will be level with Gordon Coventry as the player who has played in the most Collingwood victories.
For the record, the top 10 are:
Gordon Coventry 220
Pendles 219
Harry Collier 193 (from a ridiculously low 253 games)
Sidey 179
Tony Shaw 177
Wayne Richardson 175
Len Thompson 168
Jock McHale 166
Syd Coventry 166
Charlie Dibbs 164

He developed glandular fever before Christmas and is expected to return to Olympic Park today for examinations by club doctors".
From realfooty
Never knew he was ill. Good to hear he will be back at training.
Glandular fever hasn't seemed to affect his career too much.

An average of 25.9 disposals per game across an 18-year career. That's just ridiculous. And even this year, he's still averaging 23 and a half.

And there we have it: with 10 minutes and 18 seconds in the 3rd quarter to play against Footscray, the AFL announces that
Scott Pendlebury has just broken the all-time record for disposals in AFL history. The Collingwood champion has 9657 disposals in his career, breaking the record set by St Kilda's Robert Harvey.
