If it is within 10km of the stadium the game would be stopped for a minimum of 20 minutes. Then it would recommence when safe.
There is no cut off to restarting the game. Footy boss Laura Kane would make the call ~ Jon Ralph @FOXFOOTY.
If there's a way to ruin the games/fixtures, he'll find it.

This is now a very, very unpredictable game...
Of course Magpies by at least 1 point.
Fly has already delivered a cheeky parting shot to the Demons.
When he left his press conference on Tuesday, told reporters: “See you in a couple of weeks”,
implying his side would enjoy a week off with a win.

The best players tonight will be those good at playing footy AND be good swimmers.

He does the crouch when he's standing the mark for oppo set shots...piedys wrote:Yep, send the runner out and tell him to stoop around the field if things get hairy!K wrote:If there's lightning the tallest dude is most likely to be hit.
Cox sit down so it's Gawn?!
But we don't wanna see Gawn taking set shots, do we?

Seriously, if they're off for a lightning break, Wrighty better be switched on.K wrote:Thunder and lightning!
If that hits the ground during play, they'll have to stop. (Not safe to play on.)
Happened in a Melbourne game couple of years ago. And also when light towers blew vs. Brissy this year. (So maybe they'd have the advantage? Experienced it before!)
Brissy got screwed over by the AFL in that game. They were kept in the rooms, while the AFL allowed Melbourne to warm up on the field.
Then Melbourne piled on goals in the last 10 minutes.

Yep the AFL have their agendas and are quite prepared to use any excuse to enforce them on the competition.K wrote:Seriously, if they're off for a lightning break, Wrighty better be switched on.K wrote:Thunder and lightning!
