Injury update:

Jo Lin: Foot (Test)
Lauren Butler: Foot (1-2 weeks)
Ruby Schleicher: Foot (2-4 weeks)
Eliza James: Foot/syndesmosis (1-3 weeks)
Charlotte Taylor: Knee (3-5 weeks)
Imogen Barnett: Ankle (8-12 weeks)

Lauren Butler is our of the moon boot and is waiting to see how her foot responds to modified training.

Ruby Schleicher has a stress fracture in her foot and is still in a moon boot. My mail is that she could miss the whole season depending on how the injury heals.

Imogen Barnett will not be back playing until next year.

Time to get back into the winners circle.

Pies by 10 points.

Be hard early on.

Low scoring affair.

but Pies by 10 points.

Wish Ruby and EJ are back i feel they are still 2 weeks away.

And Fowler to take the ruck duties today.

Our lack of match fitness really showing this season. Another complete fade out, but this time after 3/4 time. St Kilda full of running in the last, while our girls slowed to a walk. It's going to be a really disappointing season.

Final score:

St Kilda 7.5.47 defeated Pies 5.5.35

Goals: White 2, Smith, Frederick, Morris

Best: Bonnici, Frederick, White, Cann, Davey

Watched the game on TV. Very dispointing end to the game after a good start.
As hubby said, when Frefereick is one of your best players you know you are in trouble.

Too much being left to Davey and Bonnici.
Defence is not holding up under pressure and really missing Ruby and Loz.
Pies don't have the type of players needed to compete in the current game. Need to be more athletic or have good footy smarts (if you are lucky a combination of both). Definately need a couple of good KPP - we have players who try but unfortunately not up to the standard of the better teams.

Scoring in the last quarter has been a problem. So far it has been:
Round 1 - 3 points (loss to Demons)
Round 2 - 0 points (win aginst Freo but Pies well in front at 3 qtr time)
Round 3 - 1 point (loss to Suns)
Round 4 - 0 points

Next up is game against the Bombers this Saturday.

Yep they will be right when Ruby and EJ come back but thats another 3 weeks away and the season maybe donoe by then.

I think Win GF day then what ever happens after thats a bonus.

Thinking we may miss finals by a game or 2.

Need to delist some players and draft some young talent.
