I like the kid, supported him through the worst of it, but gee the writing is on the wall here
Yep - compare him to Noble who has
worked his guts out and fought his way into the team.
Too say he hasn’t worked hard is total crap. Drafted No.13 rookie draft (72 overall).
Played first year, second, third year. Second youngest player on Collingwood’s list.
Sure he might have tapered off but you don’t throw players out like him at the stage of his career. Have people forgotten how long it took Jordy to come good? He’s 27 now.

And by they way how did you support the kid through the worst of it?

Just don’t get the hype with ginnavan,

The way Collingwood play loads goals up front from fast play and at the drop after contested.

Can’t mark, doesn’t tackle

Can’t tell me that Harrison and/or Carmichael wouldn’t perform to that level

Easy Scooby I love what Ginni can bring and yes he works hard.

BUT.

His attitude is not up to par.

Read my post history in the Ginnivan’s in trouble threads (all of them), I was pretty damn clear in my support. I supported him with the races night out before the GF. I agreed with Jordy “he’s only 21.” But Dumping a trade demand on the club at the eleventh hour and leaving them with their Johnsons hanging out has soured that support. He can piss off. And so can Whorethorn

It’s disappointing that you feel that way about a Collingwood Premiership player. Especially one you used to like & support.

ANY player not all in and who doesn’t want to play for the black’n’white should be flushed immediately…done. Thank you, next!

I thought Ollie Henry was weak as P1ss cos when McStay was coming he dogged it instead of backing himself in to fight for a spot. Now we get Schultz and Ginninvan appears to be doing the same. Very disappointing if this is true.

If Wright trades him for a second or third round pick I’ll spew up. 30 goal a year small forwards don’t grow on trees. Because he’s left it so late, I’d tell him sorry mate, you missed your chance.

We are. Contracted player and simply say "pay up or see you in October 2024".
Agree. Keep him unless the Hawks offer a good early pick, back the team to get the best out of him or he plays VFL. Required player. Hardball time.

He is still contracted to us, and so is a required player, we can tell the Dawks to bugger off. Hes silly, not being advised well. he played in a premiership team, less than a month ago, he really needs to pull his head in now, just cos we got Lochie, does not mean theres no spot for him, if hes good enough, he gets games, end of story. Keep him I say, unless we get Pick 4, yes, play hardball, or they can get stuffed. :o

The Club also wanted to keep TA, he was also a required player, remember & look what happened there!

I’m a Ginni fan, I’d love him to stay & work hard, but if players are requesting trades, that tells me they prefer being elsewhere, if that’s the case, fk off then!
