Too say he hasn’t worked hard is total crap. Drafted No.13 rookie draft (72 overall).jonmac1954 wrote:Yep - compare him to Noble who hasMr Miyagi wrote:I’m guessing the exit review went like this
Ginni: I’m sick of being sub, I’m starting 22.
Club: You’re dreaming until you put the work in and do this, this and this. You’re not meeting your markers.
Ginni: *calls his manager*
I like the kid, supported him through the worst of it, but gee the writing is on the wall here
worked his guts out and fought his way into the team.
Played first year, second, third year. Second youngest player on Collingwood’s list.
Sure he might have tapered off but you don’t throw players out like him at the stage of his career. Have people forgotten how long it took Jordy to come good? He’s 27 now.
And by they way how did you support the kid through the worst of it?

BUT.
His attitude is not up to par.
Read my post history in the Ginnivan’s in trouble threads (all of them), I was pretty damn clear in my support. I supported him with the races night out before the GF. I agreed with Jordy “he’s only 21.” But Dumping a trade demand on the club at the eleventh hour and leaving them with their Johnsons hanging out has soured that support. He can piss off. It’s disappointing that you feel that way about a Collingwood Premiership player. Especially one you used to like & support.Mr Miyagi wrote:Read my post history in the Ginnivan’s in trouble threads (all of them), I was pretty $$%^%%$ clear in my support. I thought Ollie Henry was weak as P1ss cos when McStay was coming he dogged it instead of backing himself in to fight for a spot. Now we get Schultz and Ginninvan appears to be doing the same. Very disappointing if this is true.
If Wright trades him for a second or third round pick I’ll spew up. 30 goal a year small forwards don’t grow on trees. Because he’s left it so late, I’d tell him sorry mate, you missed your chance.

He is still contracted to us, and so is a required player, we can tell the Dawks to bugger off. Hes silly, not being advised well. he played in a premiership team, less than a month ago, he really needs to pull his head in now, just cos we got Lochie, does not mean theres no spot for him, if hes good enough, he gets games, end of story. Keep him I say, unless we get Pick 4, yes, play hardball, or they can get stuffed.

hes contracted
hawks wont pay overs for him
the deal is 100% not getting done... its just his management posturing...."dont push our player around" sort of thing
The Club also wanted to keep TA, he was also a required player, remember & look what happened there!
I’m a Ginni fan, I’d love him to stay & work hard, but if players are requesting trades, that tells me they prefer being elsewhere, if that’s the case, fk off then!
