Latest developments in Gaza:
IDF is carrying out a war on hospitals. According to the IDF, and Netahanyu government, the hospitals in Gaza are legitimate targets because Hamas is organisng terrorist operations within and underneath them. The Al-shifa Hospital was described by the Murdoch press as an "underground terror HQ of Hamas".
These claims proved to be a complete lie. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) produced no hostages, no underground bunker. After searching a sprawling hospital complex that at one point housed 60,000 people in the middle of an active war zone, the IDF could only show a few assault rifles and two flak jackets as “evidence.”

a) those who remained in them, the doctors and nurses who ignored the threats of the israeli government because of their commitment to their patients and to human life, are an example of resistance which the Netahanyu government cannot tolerate.
b) the Israeli goverment, as a proxy of the US, is broadcasting to the world: if you oppose oppression, if you oppose the drive of US imperialism to dominate the globe, you will be massacred.

Yep, completely depressing. Brief occasional forays are the best I can muster to stay sane. It's too late once things get to this stage, and too infuriating knowing so much more needed to be done in the intervening years to stop the inmates from taking over the asylum.

So much at the moment is about egregious error followed by egregious fix, and has been since the Iraq War. No no long-term planning, no diligence, no caution, no risk management, no tongue biting. Just provoke, react and wreck.

I doubt that Slangman has even heard of Friedrich Engels, Karl Marx's best friend and closest collaborator. Engels made an enormous contribution to the development of Marx's theories of socialism and philosophy (dialectical materialism). It just goes to show that anti-Semitism emanates from within the capitalist class fundamentally. Elon Musk no doubt is anti-Semitic, and so are many capitalist politicians who currently proclaim that Israel "has the right to defend itself": ex Michael Jeffries, current Speaker of the House of Representatives, is a christian fascist who is a "young earth creationist". He believes that the earth was created 60000 years ago, and that before Jesus Christ returns to earth, all the Jews must be "in-gathered" to the Holy Land, and be embroiled in an "apocalyptic war", in which - according to some creationist theories - they will be annihilated. This insane anti-Semite is currently a fervent defender of the Israeli government and its genocidal policies, because it is consistent with his religious phantasmagoria of assembling all the Jews in Isreal for the ultimate war.
Marjorie Taylor Greene, member of the US Congress for Georgia, is a follower of the “Replacement Theory.” This fascist doctrine, argues that politicians or activists who defend immigrants are part of a Jewish-communist plot to “replace” White Christians with “inferior stock” from Africa, South America and Asia.

Biden collaborates on a daily basis with his "Republican colleagues", clearly not seeing their virulent anti-semitism as an obstacle.
Biden is also spending billions of US government expenditure arming anti=semitic Neo-Nazis in Ukraine.

It is time to locate where the primal source of anti-Semitism lies. It lies within the capitalist elites in every countery. Right now, they are piously proclaiming "Israel's transcendent right to defend itself" only because this fits in with their geopolitical agendas.
In reality, they could not care less about the Isreali population, and if it suited their interests, would allow them to be massacred as well.
