Also noted for his strong character and leadership. He co captained Vic Country alongside Harley Reid. He’s not a ball magnet but he wins the hard ball and breaks lines. Very strong defensively too. The club obviously went for next best over specific needs and given his strengths and god given attributes, this looks like the right selection at the time.
