Roughead may be an option but if we promote internally I would prefer Chloe.

Initially, Jordan was seen as a bit arrogant by some players.
Seems to have fitted in a bit better this season.

Well, we are sponsored by KFC. Nick Davis's favourite food. Can pay his entire wage in KFC buckets.

Saved

Sam Wright, North Melbourne Assistant coach, has been appointed AFLW Head Coach

https://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/news/1 ... nior-coach

"He joins the Magpies after two seasons serving as an Assistant Coach with North Melbourne’s AFLW side.

Hailing from Katamatite in Northern Country Victoria, Wright was drafted to North Melbourne in 2008 and went on to play 136 games for the Kangaroos before his retirement from AFL in 2019.

Following his elite playing career, Wright joined the Australian Ballet where he spent three years as a Dancer Welfare and Development Coordinator before he joined Cricket Victoria where he has spent time as a Player Development Manager and worked with the Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars. "

Yep great signing form the Pies and in a way a coo if you can call it that.

Must say he was one of the better coaches out there and knows his footy inside and out.

Key reason why north melbourne are so good too.

And comes from that old school country footy background and knows all about the city as well.

Nice job now on to work in 2024.

Some how i would like a similar type of signing for the vflw coach as well.

I think we in both the aflw and vflw are going through a transition and like a period of renewal and like a new chapter.

Didnt see it coming.

But glad it wasn't Nick Davis. Wouldnt know how to feel about that.

North have been a top side in the AFLW, so hopefully he brings us some success.

yeah agree.

think its over due we had a good soild season to aflw and vflw.

aflw are the weakest of our teams i feel.

time we well not nessarliy win the flag but make it to say a semi final or preliminary final.

but now i feel we have the right people and are on the right track.

if you compare it to the afl side then 2024 is like our 2022 season.

i feel in 2 years we will be oone of the top sides around.

im getting a bit done with seeing melbourne crows and brisbane always up there.

I feel nowhere near as strongly about Ollie.

Would be handy in our struggling forward line, though...

Did winning the flag while he was at home cuddling his mum help?

Nick of course went on to win one in Sydney. And he played a massive part in the PF win that year too.

When is the next AFLW i think we have VFLW before that and vflw starts around late March.

Me thinks AFLW is again the same time of year as this year.

i think a July start would be better and over laps vflw a bit and afl.

Like the finals be in september for the aflw.

Well, Ollie had his nut crushed this year. Dunno which oppo did it. Not Tohill!! Can ya still hate him after that?

But there was this other moment in Geebung v. Melbourne. Ollie jumps and takes an uncontested chest mark in F50 while Grundy just stands on the ground watching him!! Sheesh... We know Grundy can't take a mark, but just jump and spoil!! In the video, his teammate looks back at him with a "WTF" look on his face. Sadly, thanks to Sydney, Melbourne have been able to get rid of their huge mistake. We are still paying for ours. :(
