I was at the ground and this will also warm your heart. It was never going to miss.MagpiesTheGreat wrote:watched the last goal for ten times now...
doesn't the name "De Goey" warm your heart?

The biased commentary furiously continues over the game without even mentioning that kick or what It was for, nearly cost us the game. **** em, some how we won, still don’t know how, thought we were cooked. No commentary on us being two down either In an already depleted forward line, they just hate us which makes this one so sweet.stoliboy wrote:That was a stressful game to watch.
The Crows played hard all game. The umpires were abysmal but we got that hilarious call in our favour at the end.
Commentary all week will be “Absolutely the Crows were robbed RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME”
Totally agree but with an apathetic attitude towards this issue of umpiring and commentating. The reality is that it is always going to be there for whatever reason

Fox just showed that the run too far decision at the end was technically correct but nobody watching at the time thought so. Got out of jail today. Shit up shop which was unCollingwood like. Too much left to too few today. Bank the 4 points but gotta be better.

Yeah saw that and was glad to see it too. The crowd around us erupted shouting ' too far!' - so it looked pretty obvious. I was still surprised we actually got the free.
Well done to our undermanned boys in the end. Great for the kids to be involved in a game like this.
Just gotta bank the four points right now and hope we get some players back over next couple of weeks

So Fox footy have already come out and said he ran 24m so the “pies gifted a win” narrative can stop right now.
Certainly heard IQs name ore on the radio call.
Now a wait on the JDG dangerous tackle MRO judgment. Hopefully a nothingburger. Did the “victim” get concussed/go off the ground?
GWS lagging dogs both sets us up for a game against them in a fortnight but also puts the giants back into the quagmire of the ladder (to our benefit).

I disagree. In terms of umpiring, I prefer a game like this with 19 total frees than 19 frees each.DT wrote:I seldom mention it but in the main the umpiring was really bad.
It was a very gutsy win in the circumstances.
IQ played a very good match and helped win it with that smother.
If we had more of our forward line available then we would have won by 30+ points
Sure, one or two strange decisions, but overall, under officiating is better than over officiating.
