Weird quarter. Had some real lapses that allowed Fremantle easy goals.

We just couldn’t punish Fremantle on turnover, even though the opportunities were there.

This and smacked around the stoppages.
Yeah, the Sullivan bubble is bursting for me tonight. Looks a step below the class. Schultz has also been very underwhelming. That missed tackle that cost a goal really hurt.

Our veteran players will need to carry the team this 2nd half.

Can tell the lack of experience on the field let's us down in moments.

Still, we showed we can win tis game

Apart from last week our kicking for goal has been bottom 4 standard and tonight is even worse.

What’s the point of effort in general play if you cannot kick accurately?

Bobby Hill nowhere near it again. Needs to start impacting the game more than just a cameo or two per game.

Disappointing qtr. just flat. Didn’t have a crack. Lacking class around the ball and very much lacking class up fwd.
Schultz is a massive disappointment. I don’t think anyone would take his output at this point of the season. Not effective at all and can’t get near it.
I didn’t expect to win tonight. Just don’t have the cattle out there but I’m not really seeing anything from Freo to think we can’t win.

A play that were killer...

Cox had N.Daicos running around the back...decides to take the kick himself into forward 50...kicks it straight to a freo player.

He is a liability. Macrae must be banging his head against the wall watching Cox being gifted a game week after week while giving us 5 possessions, 1 contested mark and 7 hitouts - about 37 AF points worth of effort.

Doesn’t mean anything.

I think North Melbourne are the only team in the competition to not have a goalless quarter this year.

What does that make of us right now then?

A very very disappointing quarter. We are being smashed around clearances. Cox is having no influence and worse Cameron just doesn't seem switched on. Nick Daicos and Pendles have both been quiet by their standards. And don't get me started on our forward line. Thank goodness for HH. We'd be in serious trouble without his two goals. But seriously bad kicking is bad footy. 3 goals 9. Are you kidding me?

The third quarter is now absolutely pivotal in this match. Win it or walk home.

And the silly ruck free kicks...mason if your going to put your knee up touch the ball before you hit the ground...

We’ve been awful tonight, especially in that second quarter. We couldn’t hit a target every time we went forward. The only consolation is that Fremantle aren’t that good either,so that gives us a chance.

Apart from the fact he got cut below the eye, he's had a terrible game. The worst hands in footy and he still doesn't understand the rules. The problem for us is Cameron is not offering any better at the moment. Someone has to lift. If we keep getting beaten in stoppages this game is over.

Funny...I was just thinking...and I am sure it is no coincidence..Freo's game plan feels very Buckley ..handball handball ...go sideways...cough up ball...go sideways... do everything BUT go forwards..crabwalk slow garbage.

If freo had a better coach i have no doubt given the list they would be a far better side...and given tonight we would be down alot more.
