According to the Advertiser and all going well Pendles will play his 400th against Carlton in round 21.

A good occasion for 90,000 to celebrate a champion

This would be an amazing night! Got to make it much bigger than Dusty’s 300th live fest.

There is a lingering part of the back of my brain that says he will pull the pin this season. No harm to his reputation but I just don’t see another 40 games in the old boy to break the record.
Hope I’m wrong and it’s just the negative glasses!

He has owned Carlton longer than John Elliott did.

It started in game 16, hopefully we don’t f@ck the night up for him.

I just want us to beat the Scum, not for us as a team (yes it would help our cause obviously) but to give Pendles the accolades he so deserves.

But the Scum are known to spoil our party in recent times.

That's a shame - the rest of us were expecting to see him double his tally.

At the game today my son asked if a football has ever hit a pigeon. Of course I said yes. Who else could bounce a pigeon as part of a scoring chain but Scott Pendlebury

My favourite moments from Pendles' career:
  • 2010 Preliminary Final goal in the first quarter. Never heard a roar this loud.
  • 2007 Semi Final extra time goal against West Coast.
  • 2023 Grand Final last quarter performance. Cements himself as Collingwood's GOAT

What a star. What a club man. What a leader. What a living, playing Collingwood legend.

^ Great idea except that 400 minutes is over 6 1/2 hours so the game will be well and truly over
