As we hadn't beaten them since 1994 by that stage.
IIRC, in seasons 2000/2001/2002, we went W1/L1 against them, won both in 2003, dropped both in 2004, then finally started to claw them back from 2005 onwards...
Johnno is right. It was 103-4-117 after our first loss to them in 2002.

In 1999, it was -12 and -13.
Ah, the late loss in 2001, then the early 2002 loss [which McGuire apparently erupted over post match in the rooms] nudging it over to -14. Sorted.

If I was clever enough graphically [which I strongly suspect i'm NOT], i'd table a chart since we coughed up the lead back in 1982[?],
to illustrate each result between the two teams season by season, and how we clawed our way back into the black, just to gloat over, like a trophy lol...
