Stenglein quits the Crows...
Channel Eddie reports the Stenglein is wanting out and hoping to end up at either WCE or Freo....Josh Carr should join him in about a month..making a spot for Leon less of an option as either of those two blokes would be chased ahead of him.

I don't thinkl Leon will go. He will progress to the midfield early next season, and as sq3 said, he needs to work on his fitnes. That will come with another pre-season. We must keep him, as we have invested a lot in him. He has the potential to star, and has said he wants to become a Collingwood midfielder. Why trade him for a guy like Wirrapunda who will never improve and we already have players of the similar ilk? We need to keep him, as we all know what he can do. If Malthouse didn't see anything in him, he would have gone a while ago.
Stenglin is a talented player, so maybe Beau Waters may head back to Adelaide sooner then expected.

The weagles have come out punching telling all and sundry to keep their respective mits of Waters and or Butler. Makes it interesting cos my tip is that to get Stenglein home a few clubs may need to be involved.
Again given our lack of trading in recent trading periods we cant discount anything and should aim to get involved.

Waters is the one that the Crows want and thats come from someone within the club, in fact, you may find he got votes in the Rising Star voting yesterday, about four of them to be honest.
I don't think the Eagles will come to the party on that, I really can't see them trading someone of great prospect for Tyson, although the bloke is a very talented footballer. Look for them, being the Crows, to look at someone else, possibly a key position player like Seaby.

Why Massie ?
1. Faster than OB,
2. Better disposal on both sides of the body,
3. Younger,
4. Tougher.
He gets the ball a lot and will be better in our midfield than OB - and I forgot to mention - can kick goals.
Would make us better.
Allows OB to be traded to Bombers (directly or indirectly) as Misiti and Mercuri are gone.
