Yeah it was a mistake to give up Victoria Park. Carlscum know it, thats why Collo scheduled the game at Princes Park, just to rub our noses in it.

Previous management's lack of foresight has cost us the opportunity to expand Victoria Park into a mid-size stadium (holding about 40,000). The area around Vic Park, seems to me, to be a lot easier to grab as it is not public parkland.

Collingwood should have had a massive drive over the last twenty years for a capital fund to redevelop Vic Park. I guess we could start one now but the dollars we are talking about are huge. This effort would have to be independent of the clubs normal functioning (not that it has been functioning very normally in the last 20 years, now it seems okay though).

The AFL needs to be stripped of their authority over the draw. If Collingwood want to play there home games at Vic Park (and it is safe to do so) then we should be allowed.

Clubs should force the AFL to schedule home games where they want them to be.

With all these players suing and threatening to sue over injuries at Colonial thre's a fair chance the AFL could go broke.

If and when that happens, I will laugh for a month.

Death to the AFL.

I don't reckon it's that bad when Pies have to play at Colonial but i suppose i am used to it now cause i go there to watch other teams each week as well. I reckon about 5 games a year for Collingwood at Colonial would be alright then we should have heaps more at the MCG on Saturdays and Sundays.
The best deal would be if Waverley was opened again but and maybe just a few back at Vic Park!

Sorry all, but as much as I adored standing in the outer at Vic Park, I have to agree w/ Greg & Alf.

Besides which, West Coast comprehensively beat us every time we played there since 94!!
