Not able to update my custom user title.

Post by Go_The_Mighty_Magpies »

I'm trying to update my custom user title, but for some reason the new one just refuses to register even though it says my profile has been updated. Any thoughts on what could be the problem?

I tried the same thing about a week ago and not only did I lose my old one it wouldn't let me put a new one on. :P at least I'm not the only one, lol.

There are a few features that require a certain length of membership before you can access them. The custom title is one of them, it requires 60 days - it's recognition for someone who joins and stays, rather than the one day stayers.

I know, I know - you've been registered for longer than 60 days, but I think that what has happened is that during the last software update the counters got zeroed so everybody lost access to their custom title editor regardless of their length of membership. My apologies for that. I've set the requirement to zero and will leave it that way for a couple of months to give the counters time to run up again - so you should now be able to change your custom title without losing the whole thing.

I figured something like that...was just about to fire you off an email Mike, but thought I'd check again and it worked...then figured you'd probably tweaked something.

This problem should be fixed now. Sorry to be so slow, but I've been a bit like a legged reptile at the pub for the past couple of weeks - give it a try and let me know how you go.
