I didn't say he didn't play well. My intent in my post was that he presented time and time again, but the ball wasn't delivered to him.

HAD they have kicked to him when he was on his own one out, like he was constantly, then we might have won by 30pts instead of 3.

I was merely having a go at the mid.

I was impressed with him and hope he has a big one coming up.

The Rocca round up from last night;

8 kicks, no handballs, 7 marks, 1 hitout, 4 goals 1 behind.

Well I think Anthony had a great game tonight. He really presented himself and I think it was made a lot easier from the ball coming through the middle instead of down the bloody wings as it too often had been...

Great stuff Anthony. The big goal outside 50 was the Ant of old!!! It pumps everyone up!!!

Dare I say it "It was a match of two halves last night"

In the first half I don't need to comment on the big fella's performance because there wasn't any. Two disposals summed it up perfectly.

Second half Rocca came out like a man possessed. Led to the right spots, marked strongly and kicked some very important goals.

One thing I want to say about the big fella's game last night. In which I have actually said this numerous times, but Rocca can actually kick!!! When I say that, I mean, he can kick and hit a target. I even said to the girls last night, "is this shades of buckley with his precise kicking?". Yeah I said it in jest, but he found some targets perfectly last night, one being the beautiful balk from 60 out and a left foot pass to...ohhhh now I have had a mental bloke, forget who. But it was perfect.

Anyway, the second half got him into the votes for many people. Was a great game by him, and when he puts 4 together like that, LOOK THE F'k OUT!

Thought that his second half was fantastic.... the best for the year so far. Although I think he played a better all round game last week!! Well done Pebbles!!

Well for a game that wasn't suited to big blokes. He held his end up really well the big fella.

I think his report will be thrown out. Or if not thrown out, he wont go. I thought it was a good bump. But then again, he does play in the B&W. That add's another couple of weeks onto anyone.

He presented himself really well today and I actually thought he played well with Maxy hanging around down there. I thought the coaching move of the year was maxy and Johnno down there early.

I recon Anthony is in form and I feel he is going to have a big year. Couple of sprayed kicks, but none you want to bag the bloke for. His set shot kicking has been great lately.

I just feel for big blokes like that who have run around in the wet all day, to get up again in 4 days. Though, Cam Smith and Matty King did it in less than 24 hours tonight with the stormers.

Thought Anthony was quite good again yesterday. We need to learn to put the ball on his chest though. It might have been the difference in the game.

Well all I can say is...the big fella needs to stand up.

He presented last night, and presented well, though he had about 934763 crows hanging off him each time.

He is due for a buddy bag soon.

Well yet another game which was not one of Anthony's best. The only thing with Rocca is, he can turn a game (even mick said that tonight). First half was abysmal, 2nd he held the ball and kicked a couple of big goals which M said instill confidence in him and the team.

You just have to love it when he is 60m out and he swings around like that??? It sends chills down the spine!

Lets hope in the next couple of weeks Rocca can play 4 quarters. I still think he is the most important man in the team and I'd be picking the team around him. Come on big man!

I'm not sure I have to say that much about last nights game that hasn't already been said by others in the GD board.

But last night it was good to see Roc back to his old self and booting them from any distance and any angle. His confidence looked sky high last night and it was good to see. I hope this sets him up for a lazy 10 against the Dees.
