Sometimes I wish i lived in MElbourne to go to the games and visit the grounds and club.
It will change as long as we keep our young blokes and MM too

GeorgeQ. It was all explained on Elle McFeast once. After you reach a certain age, just before you are capable of making rational decisions, the team you currently barrack for is written in a black book and you are never allowed to change it.

Obviously this age is later for Essendon fans. They are allowed to change teams upto the age of senility.

nicki and Greg J

I will join the social club again next year, there is no getting Collingwood out of my system. I have been a member for 9 years, all the while living in Canberra. There is no value in my membership, it's about supporting the club I love.

My post came out of a massive fit of depression and shame after watching Collingwood worst half of football (this includes Richmond Alf) ever.

You're right, George. We certainly surpassed our Richmond effort the other day!!!

But then again, what Carlton did to us on Sunday is what Richmond would have done to us when we played them if Richmond had been any good.

And I guess the second half against Melbourne was right up there, too.

Performances like that make it damn hard to keep fronting up.
