Williamstown v Bendigo @ Bendigo
So who's coming up to Bendigo?
I love the game up there, been a couple of years though after the last one was moved to Windy Hill
BUt hopefully its a better day than the last one I remember, had a mini tornado during the week and there was talk of if they could use the ground it copped so much rain, players were unrecognisable all day except for the fact Willy were the ones with the ball as they won by 100 points
Always enjoy the weekend up there, but with talk of Bucks returning might bring a few more along?

If Bucks plays...
all roads lead to Bendigo, will make the drive across if Bucks plays, but seeing the boys are as close as they get to home, may make the trip regardless to get a first hand look at the likes of Wellingham, Dawes, Brown & Reid...

Dale, I saw the ground on Sunday, it is terrible...Dale61 wrote:
All reports are that QEO is in excellent condition, so the state of the ground isn't the reason.
and this in today's bendigo paper....
"In our opinion, the ground is in a bad state," Lodewijks said.
There were six matches contested by All Seasons Bendigo Football-Netball League clubs on the QEO last weekend.
"With council permitting training on the QEO this week it will suffer from at least two more sessions," Lodewijks said.
"There will then be three BFL matches on Saturday, a VFL reserves game on Sunday, and then the senior clash.
"We believe the ground will not recover from such extensive use to be at the required VFL standard for Sunday's game."
Lodewijks said the Bombers voiced concerns about the QEO surface in the lead-up to the previous home game against Northern Bullants.
"We have been in constant contact with the council regarding the playing surface of the QEO for most of the 2007 season," Lodewijks said.
"It is hard to believe that this week, training is allowed when the ground is in worse condition."
The Bombers must win their last three home-and-away games to play finals.
