Thanks jonesy, what a magnificent fixture, funny how now its Collingwood on its own suddenly we are an ABC drawcard

Love the curtain raisers :D

Also good to see no clashes throughout the entire season of the team playing at the same time

I was half hoping that too - Sounded like a Good Excuse to go to tassie. At least it will be on TV for you

6 TV games, but 5 of them are away games.

I bet the host teams of those 5 games are looking at big crowd numbers.

Good thing about the TV coverage is we will get a chance to keep an eye on the kids coming through.

Prelims and Semis are normally at Port Melbourne as well as 2 finals in the 1st week with the other 2 finals in the 1st week being played at the higher placed clubs homeground

GF is likely to be at TD

Not necessarily. It depends on facilities. If Tassie makes the finals, don't be surprised to see them get a home game no matter where they finish.

Casey's ground (facilities) is not yet deemed suitable for finals. If improvements are completed as expected, they could hold finals as of 2009.

Already confirmed. The TAC GF will most likely be the curtain raiser.

It will then be interesting to see what the AFL put on before the AFL GF.

Maybe the Under 18s VIC vs All-stars? which is normally during GF week at Prince's Park, or some other kind of representative match?
