Hi guys, the only reason we made it that way was because you get one raffle ticket for each $10 you donate. So it just makes it easier if donations are $10 multiples - that way you get a full amount of tickets in all the raffle prizes. Hope that makes sense!
It is still up to each individual on how much or how little they would like to donate. I know everyone has differing financial circumstances but the minimum of $10 isn't much considering it covers a whole seasons sponsorship and there are some great prizes to win.
Hope we can get lots of NBBers on board this year.
GO PIES!

MargOZ, good work. Id like to donate the minimum $10. I know its not much but as a uni student with a loan you have to watch your money if you want to get to a few games.
Would like to stay with JA. We sponsored him through a year he couldnt even play due to a hoffific injury...it would be great to stick with him as he pushes for senior selection and i think it would be a great reward for all of us to see him running out for a senior match this year. Would definitely warm the hearts to all those that contributed last year despite not been able to see him play.
I think stick loyal with him. Although he didnt play last year, i felt good knowing i was supporting a player that needed it most. This year, given that he is a red hot chance to break into the side, i think we chuck all our support behind him.

UPDATE:
Just an update to say that we have had $400 worth of pledges so far - quite a bit away from the total we will need which, based on last year's figures, will be around $1500.
If anyone is interested in being involved in NBB Player Sponsorship please send me a PM or post here with an amount you are able to pledge.
I am following up with the Club to get the 2008 player list and costs. Hopefully we should also have some great prizes to raffle off.

Marg, put me down for the same as the last 2 years. I'll PM you if you want. I'm happy to stay with JA but I'll stay on board if we change. They're all our kids.

UPDATE:
Thanks heaps to those who have already made an offer to contribute to the sponsorship.
Just a reminder that you can contribute as little $10 if you'd like to be involved in the sponsorship but the budget is a bit tight. Every dollar helps and everyone involved has a chance of winning some great prizes.
At the moment we are still approx $700 short of the total needed to sponsor a player again in season 2008.
I know in the past we've had some members pay a bit extra on top of the money they had already contributed - but it would be great if we could get some new people on board to spread the cost around more.
Just send me a PM or post here if you'd like to be involved.
Thanks,
Marg

Not everyone will post in here. There is the option of private message as well.xtcc wrote: It is a shame so many Nick posters have so much to say on a free Forum, & havent even taken the time to post in here.
