YAY! We have reached our target!

The next step is to choose a player. I will create a new thread/poll for members to select the player they would like to sponsor this year.

I will only make a list of players in the 'Players of the Future' category, as they are the ones within our price range - and we have always agreed to sponsor an up-and-coming player where possible.

I will also try and scan the sponsorship info and put that on here for everyone to see.

Banking/payment details will also be sent to all those who have offered to be involved. Please make payment as soon as you are able as we need to confirm our player and make the initial 50% payment by Monday 4th Feb 08.

Note that it is still not too late for anyone to join in with the sponsorship and participate in the raffles we hold throughout the season. Just send me a PM. Sometimes we have a struggle getting the last few dollars in for the final payment - and if we do receive any money over the sponsorship amount, I will use that to purchase some extra CFC raffle prizes.

Thanks again to everyone who has offered to support the NBB Player Sponsorship this season.

UPDATE 11 FEB 08

Hi All,

Just a note to confirm that we are re-sponsoring John Anthony for season 2008 - and we have made our first payment (half of the full cost) to the Club.

Thank you to those who have already paid their money.

For those still outstanding, please let me know if you require payment details. We don't need to make the second payment until mid-season but I would prefer to get the money accounted for ASAP to ensure we don't run short at the last minute if some people are no longer able to participate.

Also remember that once you have paid, you get one ticket per every $10 donated in each of our raffles.

The first raffle is for Season Launch tickets on 17th March 2008.

Note that I will be drawing the raffle in the next couple of weeks. There will also be the option for NBB sponsorship members to buy additional tickets.
