I was under the impression part of the agreement with the captaincy was that Burnsy was on for two years, to groom what then looked like Heater or Pendles. Probably Pendles now for sure.

Hope he goes around again. Been such a fantastic player for us, and I reckon he still has a lot to offer.

We spoke with Burns last night and he indicated that he might go around again.

Hope he does go around again, although if he did hang up the boots then Josh would probably get the captaincy

Magpie insiders believe Burns will announce his retirement shortly and Eagles coach John Worsfold is expected to hold talks with him this weekend or early next week.
Sounds Like he is Retired - F**k, Who going to be Captain Josh :shock:
