Pies Vs Crows Live Semi Final 2009

Post by mugway05 »

Just wondering if anyone else is keen to watch the game live at the Slug in Fulham. The game is shown live with kick off at 10:30am.
Should be a good day if we can get up.

I'd be an unlikely starter..... getting to Fulham by 10.30am on a Sat would probably require me to stay on the sauce all Friday nite!

Sadly bit too far from Bristol at that time of morning. Am sure some of the putney magpies will be there though.

LondonPie do you play for Putney Magpies? I know the senior coach Mark Pitura. He use to play for the pies in the early 90's.
I have played the last 3 years for the West London Wildcats and we will be there. Have Bristol still got a team in the Social league?

No, was president for a couple of years starting back in 2004 when we founded but have since left the smoke to the quieter waters of bristol..

Bristol folded a while back but a few of the players went to the Chipenham Redbacks.

Can't believe a pies fan is playing for the wildcats though.. Shame shame on you :)

Hi Dave and Simon

Long time no speak. Hope you are both well?
Sorry I havent been on for ages, its be a bit of a year or two I might say.
But things are looking up. Please give me a shout with all the news and updates from London. Would love to be at the "Slug" for the match but kinda prefer to watch it live. Just got my tix!!! Front row, blacony Ponsford stand!! Yippie.
Been getting along to the footy most weeks this year, missed a lot last year because of my illness.
Last Saturdays game was one of the most gruelling I have ever watched. We all really thought we were too late to get over the line. Thank god for umpires and Jack Anthony is all I can say.
Catch you again. Will come in more often now that I have my old login back.

Take Care
