We are a team but also individuals. As I'm the game day mod, and the one who some of the above is aimed at, let me shed some light.

Members take little notice of the 'all comments please', after the Pre Match and Post Match thread headings. If that request was adhered to, replies wouldn't be out of sequence.

I only merge post match comments in the few hours immediately following a match. After that, certain aspects of the match deserve and get 'stand alone' status.

Re. locking of threads (nulla): I lock the Game On thread as soon as the game finishes and the Post Match thread is opened. The Pre Match thread is locked when the Game On thread is started.

Those topics are then moved to the Match forum and unlocked.

Defender, your second yellow card was incurred on May 25 and a PM sent.

Re. Announcement of the team. I agree.

I'm usually around on Thursday evenings so, as soon as a member sends me the team (with confirmation link), via PM, I'll edit it into the Pre Match thread's opening post, and then in the opening post of the Game On thread.

I don't know why we can't have a teams thread that lives for more than 30 damn seconds on the board before some over-zealous mod goes button-crazy and merges it into the match thread where, as always, it's impossible to find any damn thing or carry on a sensible discussion because it's just too long and crowded. Merge later if you must, but this merge-everything-instantly drives me spare.Same as it does most other members. It's not needed and it's not wanted. Just don't do it, OK?

Mate it happened last weekend and I made the same point to Donny. The post-game thread made no sense because you had all these unrelated comments thrown together.

My opinion is that it is was Pollyanna Donny working overtime to hide any criticism of Eddieland. When that doesn't work you'll find Nick's tends to go down for a while.

Why was the Throbbie Walls thread locked/deleted/moved/enveloped into the ether?
Wasn't really a "match" thread, just a comment on Walls and his anti-Pie bias. Which of course can be seen in 10's broadcast, Walls newspaper column and OneHD's "One week at a time".
I think the line has been overstepped on this one. Time for the other "sinisterbastards" to have a wee chat.
