?mark over Shane Warne

Post by bwphantom »

The big Question is will he be right for the World Cup campaign.
1. He dis-located his shoulder-most rehab for that is 12 - 16 weeks- he has had 5 weeks.
2. He really got a pasting in a slow turning MCG pitch;
A: because he bowled flatter, his arm action is not as high and this is important to a Leggy.
B: He only really ripped a couple.
C:His in-ability to bowl any type of variation; such as wrongin and flipper because of the extra strain it puts on shoulder, let alone the top spinner because that does take extreme shoulder work.
3. What if he pulls a muscle in the shoulder, then he is out and non relaceable.

I believe he should do what is right for the Aussie team by dropping himself, this not only frees up any problems with the one day side but it also gives him time to recover to give the Windies a pasting on home soil.
This is just what I think.
Comments anyone??

Got to agree with Phanto, but only up to a point. That reasoning would apply to an ordinary bloke. This man's a freak!

It's also important to look closer at his MCG performance. Yes, he went for 58 but he took two wickets. Two VERY important wickets. Vaughan and Stewart!

They were the two top scorers and had either gone on into the last overs, we could well have missed the Brett Lee show and been playing a third final.
