Every match now has the potential to embarrass the Aussie selectors and today it was Alfie's turn.
The diminutive Warrior smashed 105 from 111 balls (9 fours and 4 sixes) and with Goodwin's 52 from 51, helped rack up too big a total for the Bushrangers. Harwood (2/31) and Moss (2/36) were best for the Bushies. Warney (1/53 from came through his spell OK but Langer took 26 from one of his overs.
Victoria could only manage 237 in reply - 25 short - with Hodge (43), White(42) and Arnberger (39) getting starts. Jo Angel took 3/39 and Thorpe, 3/42.

Langer should be in the one day squad. If you look at his strike rate in test matches recently you will find that he scores quite quickly. He is a fighter and him and Hayden are a great combination. For some strange reason he is one of those players pigeoned holed to one form of the game.

The Redbacks could only muster 83 from 21 overs in their match against the Bulls. Brant (3/33 from 6 overs), Carsledine (4/6 from 4) and MacKenzie (3/20 from 3) crashed through and only Cosgrove (24) made any impression.
The Bulls lost only 3 wickets - Payne 25, Love 16, and Carsledine 16 - in securing the win in 23.2 overs. Cleary did well with 2/16 from 7 overs.

The Blues are looking good aren't they it should be a good game in Coffs Harbour tomorrow and yet again I have to miss out on it being televised as there is always a one dayer being played the exact same day that NSW play grrr! Hopefully Slats makes a big score as I don't want him being dropped just before they play in Victoria that would really make me angry! Five days straight of Slater in February I can't wait people! Victoria aren't doing too well in the ING cup are they!

Western Australia are flogging NSW. NSW were bowled out for not many (about 160ish) only Mark waugh showed any reistance with 48.
NSW were so desperate that they opened the bowling with Magilla the gorilla.....lol lol Western Australia were cruising to victory last time i heard the update.
