Maybe they should do what the goal review system does and present the wrong video evidence. Show them the video of Greene on Bont and suggest it was last weekend's game. That'll see him gone for sure!

"Nose area". Is this just a diplomatic way of saying eye area? It's the same area. There's a reason player testimony is not treated very seriously.

If he does it again and permanently damages someones eye the AFL will look like fools for not suspending him.

It’s happened a few times where an opposition player has tried to give evidence supporting the player who was suspended. Mainly because of the “code” where you don’t want another player to miss a final or Grand Final.

Doesn’t always work though. Hopefully the tribunal sees it for what it is and supports the original decision of a suspension.

Wish he played for us though. :?
I don't. Can you imagine the media reaction if he was engaging in these antics as a Collingwood player?

Yeah if they let him off it reminds me of that lowlife killer of the young woman in Brunswick a few years ago. Out on bail on serious rape charges and he goes and kills someone else while waiting.

Toby Greene has the same psychopathic personality! He can't help himself.

Week one The Bont
Week two Lachie Neale
Week three ???????
Week 3: Maynard accidently kicks in danger and separates his head from his body. I'd like to see that!!!

IF the Dawkins suspension stands, and Toby the Optical specialist gets off it just shows how desperate the League is to protect its Sydney Franchise, and try to get em into a GF, sticks out like dogs balls. sigh.

If this bloke isn't the most protected AFL player... who is?

TOBY'S TRACK RECORD

Total: 18 charges

Suspensions: 7 matches

Fines: $26,350

UPDATE: Is this the evidence that will free Toby Greene?

"He (Neale) felt contact. He had no idea who it was," Fagan said.

"It wasn't enough to stop him from playing on. It just caused him a little bit of disturbance for a few seconds and he dusted it off and kept going.

"It wasn't in the eyes. It was more to the nose was what he said to me yesterday."

Greene will face the Tribunal on Tuesday night at 5pm AEST.
