Yet, some dickheads on thst SIDE BY SIDE site, reckon the umpires were fine last night and had no influence on the match at all, in answer to one of my posts, I kid you not. Last qtr abomination no effect onthem, nor a double 50 meter penalty, that became a very rare 100 meter penalty . They must be bloody blind as bats.
Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Be careful using the AFL statement to back you up in this instance. You can’t bag the league and then use that as a crutch in defence of your position and we all know that in a couple weeks they will put out an announcement justifying something else which potentially isn’t in our favour…
It's never as good/nor bad as it seems...

We ended up getting a goal but wrapping both arms around whisper and lifting him off the ground before the ball arrives might be, just maybe, holding the man. One of the worst non calls I've ever seen.

The North player played on. What can I say? The ump didnt call the mark or play on and thats the issue. The 2 Pies approached him because he played on. But because Huddo in his commentary says thats 50, the whole world explodes.
When it happens against us, its funny. But when it happens in our favour its headline news. The AFL media and opposition supporters make me sick.
And yes, North had all the favorable calls in the game even tho we finished with more frees. They had goals gifted to them.

Anybody concerned that we will be crucified by the scumps against the Suns? Rankine gets called for running 25m without taking a bounce then the next weekend Nosferatu Nicholls pulls out the bullshit free kick against Freo because the ball wasn't given back to him as the square up for the previous week?
Can totally see something similar happening next week

Umpires trying to make the game close is a given but I don’t think it will be underhanded or anything like that. Eddie Smith will be happy to hear that I have total confidence and faith in the umpires to continue being as neutral as possible. The only thing that I have questioned is whether a few of them are actually competent enough to umpire at AFL level.
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm
