Yes, very sad news. I have often wondered what it must be like to start your own band, with your own name, make great music and number one hits and then live the rest of your life associated in the public mind with a genius who played and sang with you when he was a kid. It must have been a hard road.

Thanks for posting the link to the remastered version of “Keep on running” - the sound quality on that is so much better than the version on the “Greatest Hits” vinyl.

I was sorry to read this morning that Jerry Jeff died a couple of days ago, aged 78. Many of you will know his most famous song (link at the end, below) but I thought I'd first provide some links to a couple of my favourites from a wonderful 1972 album that, from what I can see, has never been released on CD and is now considered "rare and obscure".
