Clarkson may or may not be available, i know Kennett is admanant he wont be, hes on a contract next season still. Just show, if u havent got a good list, your stuffed, doesnt matter who you are, or what your record in the past is. The Hawks are really struggling now, no youth pollicy, which Clarko never wanted to do, now they are a shit list, and he no matter what hes done in the past, he cant get them winning at all, they are being belted. Good players make good coaches, been that way for 150 years, fact.

Gee, I wonder if Caro might know someone at Collingwood who is pushing for a Browne presidency?
Perhaps an Ex-President who can't move on?

I don’t see Browne as the “change” candidate people might be hoping for:

• Best friends with McGuire.

• This looks like a power play by McGuire to get back at Korda, Murphy and Licuria who pushed him out of the club.

• Craig Kelly (Buckley’s manager) endorses him.

• The media conglomerates favour him.

I’m not enthused by the current board either, but I worry about Browne’s real intentions.

If he’s serious about running, he needs to communicate with the members and start presenting his vision for the club. First question should be what he does about the senior coaching situation.

Absolutely spot on. Browne is Eddie's puppet!

P*** off Eddie. Haven't you stuffed this club enough already?

If you're reading this Eddie. Get stuffed. It's bad enough listening to your 1950s style footy commentary on FOX again this season.

I'm not necessarily opposed to Browne, but in saying that i'm cautious - we need no hidden agendas, the club needs to be run professionally and it needs to have it's mindset in the 21st century.

Korda can show real leadership and sack Buckley. That would surely win him a few years as President.

But if he keep fluffing around, pretending all is good and defers to Wright to make the call, then he's a dead man.

We need the football department to go first. That’s far more of a problem than the board.

Correct.

The only way Korda wins any future board election or withstands the Browne camp is to make the call on Buckley very soon. At least then, he can argue he's stamping his authority and making the necessary changes to rebuild the club.

Korda is a dead man walking, bring on Browne.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
