LEADERSHIP STARTS WITH YOUR FEET TAYLOR AND SECONDLY YOUR DECISION MAKING! NOT YOUR VOICE!

He's been off for a few weeks now. Had got his kicking up to an acceptable level in the last coupe of years without being Didakesque but yeah... cost us a fair few goals lately.

This!! I love his impact in the midfield but he cannot kick.

It's not just his kicking, plenty of his handballs go directly to opposition players, had plenty of mates in this respect today

When the day arrives that I feel good about our chances when Adams has ball in hand is the day we become a premiership side.....not bloody likely. He should start by NEVER kicking sideways or backwards. If you HAVE to kick the ball ALWAYS send it in a forward direction as far away from yourself as possible as close to team mates as possible to try and save us from these game turning skill errors. Start with that!

He's a good player and he's been one of our best this year, but he was shocking today. He was indeed the diff between winning and losing.
He'll bounce back though.

He is not called Butcher Adams for nothing.
But he is still a good player but he should go and have a long talk to Ben Johnno.

Adams wasn't the only culprit. Crisp, sidearse and Smith turned over the ball as well resulting in easy goals the other way.

Won't be considered elite or A grade unless he cleans up his disposal.
Bucks should ban the switch across the defensive 50 altogether, no matter who, it's too costly.

Agree. As I said Monco Matt, as soon as the coaches recognize that he is having a "poor kicking" day, he should be instructed how to get the ball to the team's advantage. Handball, knocking it on or soccering it - who cares if it's pretty or not. He gets it often enough, he just has to send it forward more often.

listen.
Our disposals and kicking for goal have been poor for years now.
It goes back to recruiting players who can't kick.
I have banged on about this for years and years.
Everyone knew Taylor was a butcher from his time at the GWS.
But we still recruited him because Hine and Bux wanted some grunt in the midfield.

but it is that exact play, daring as it is, that has turned us around from being a boring defensive team who cant kick goals to a team that takes on the game and looks really good. It will lead to mistakes, but i for one want them to continue to take the game on.
Adams does need to reset his expectations by foot. I think he plays like someone with good skills by foot meaning he is setting himself up to fail.

^ No team has 18 elite kickers so what are you banging on about? Taylor Adams has an in and under job to do, win the hard ball and ideally feed it to the better balls users going in to forward 50. Yes he needs to work on improving his disposal as do many players. He is only 23 yrs old so still time to improve but he would currently be in our top three best players for the year which some posters here are forgetting.

We easily forget his best game against Hawthorn and judge him on his last game against Melbourne. I thought he was a bit off last game against Freemantle but a few here gave him votes. So I don't get what the problem is. He obviously needs to work on his disposal but we had worse players out there today. Smith for one was awful. The one thing Adams needs to do is shut up before the game instead of giving the opposition free ammunition. He'll learn from today's game.
